Strategic Plan

The Grimsby Public Library is an important part of community life. It is a trusted place where residents 
come to learn, connect, access resources, and explore new ideas. As Grimsby continues to grow and 
evolve, the Library must also continue to grow and adapt, ensuring it remains responsive to changing needs 
while continuing to deliver the core services and supports the community values.

Ready for What’s Next sets a clear direction for the Library over the next five years. Informed by 
community input, perspectives from Library staff, the Library Board, Town representatives, and background 
research, the plan reflects a vision for the future of library service in Grimsby. It recognizes the Library’s 
important role not only as a provider of collections, programs, and services, but also as a welcoming public 
space and community connector.
